Glebe Farm Hedging is a family run business, based on our farm on the edge of the Dedham Vale in the heart of ‘Constable Country’. We supply over 100 varieties of hedge plants and young native trees to customers throughout the UK and occasionally to the Continent. Our clients include estates and farms, landscapers and developers, and private owners of gardens both large and small.
The majority of the plants we offer are supplied as young (normally 2-3 year old) dormant, bare-rooted transplants, which are lifted and despatched between late October and early April. For those wanting a more instant effect, we list a number of larger field grown plants for Autumn/Winter planting. Pot-grown plants are normally available throughout the year. We also stock a wide range of planting accessories to assist in the establishment of your hedge.
If you wish to place an order, either ring to discuss your requirements or simply print out and fill in the order form, then post or fax it to us. We will always confirm your order and delivery date. In our busiest months of November and March please place orders well in advance of your preferred delivery date – lead times are normally 7-10 days, but may be longer at these times. Local customers are welcome to collect pre-booked orders from the farm by prior arrangement.
Most orders are delivered by carrier on a nationwide next day service and we make every effort to ensure that goods are delivered on a pre-arranged date. All plants are despatched with planting and aftercare instructions (also available to view or print from this website), and for peace of mind, are guaranteed for the first growing season – see terms and conditions for details.
We pride ourselves on the quality and performance of our plants, and the service we offer , and as horticultualists with over 20 years experience we are always happy to share our knowledge.
