HOW
TO ORDER. Please fill in all details of your requirements on
the order form provided and send it together with your remittance to
the address on the form. We can also accept orders by telephone or fax
if payment is made by credit/debit card (we do not advise sending credit
card details by e-mail). We will confirm your order and delivery date by post, e-mail,
fax or telephone depending on lead time. The minimum order value is £20 excluding carriage.
Please note that bare-root and rootballed plants are only available from November to early April; most pot grown plants are available all year round.
DESPATCH. Plants are despatched from Glebe Farm as soon as possible after
receipt of orders
on a pre-arranged date to suit you. Normal lead times are 7-10 days, but may be longer at our busiest times (November and March). Please notify us within 24 hours if your order has not been received on your expected delivery date. We will advise you if your order cannot be sent because of adverse weather conditions etc.
CARRIAGE
AND PACKING. Orders are sent on a contract carrier next day
service and are delivered on weekdays (Tuesday-Friday). Please note
that, although we make every effort to ensure that orders are delivered
on a pre-arranged date, this is not a guaranteed or timed service, so
we would ask that you let us know where packages can be left if you
are out when the delivery arrives. For delivery to UK mainland destinations
the charge for this service is
£9.95 per order (excluding off-shore and ‘instant’ hedge plants). Saturday and timed
deliveries can be arranged at extra cost. If delivery is required to Northern Ireland, The Channel Islands or other
offshore destinations please ask for a quote. NB. For mature ‘instant’
hedge plants, charges are calculated by weight or by the pallet load.
Please ask for details.
